This unit is designed for testing an operating cable communication system. Therefore we are unable to provide complete testing of this unit.

The front panel controls and menu lists were observed and navigated. The LCD display is in good condition. Partially tested functionality using the model SDA-5500 Stealth Digital Analyzer. We were only able to perform limited transmitter power testing between the two units. Performed the transmitter calibration process, and the calibration test passed. Verified the output power measured on the analyzer changed as the transmitter power setting was changed on the transceiver.

For intense reverse testing requirements, the rack mounted model SDA-5510 Headend Reverse Sweep Manager handles the reverse sweep job for up to 10 different technicians on the same cluster of nodes. Using the SDA-5510 in conjunction with the model SDA-5500 transceiver provides a full reverse sweep alignment solution. The SDA-5510 can also stand alone in remote hub sites for dedicated reverse alignment applications. The SDA-5510 has been designed to be rack-mounted.

The SDA-5510 headend unit has two primary interface elements: the Navigator menu (a graphical user interface), and a 40-key keypad. The keypad consists of:

• sixteen numeric entry keys
