Includes: One Vytran FFS-1000 Filament Fusion Splicer, Recoater, Proof Tester (PM). Air Pump, Air regulator and controller. Both PM chucks are 400um.

The Vytran FFS-1000 includes everything you need to strip, clean, cleave, splice and recoater is incorporated in the main unit. Fiber coating heater and stripper, ultrasonic cleaner, cleaver, splicer, and finally the fiber recoater. All in one! No other splicer manufacturer sells anything close to the FFS-1000 and if you also need to recoat what you splice, you will not need to purchase a separate recoater. It doesn€™t splice using the heat from a dirty electric arc, but from a small electric heating filament in an inert argon or nitrogen atmosphere, A must for specialty fiber splicing and lab experiments.

This unit WILL HAVE to be sent in to Vytran to purchase the software and be reconditioned before it will be able to be used.

If there are any unforeseen problems with the unit, we will help compensate for the repairs.

The unit pictured is the actual unit you will receive and is being sold AS-IS. Due to the fact that we are missing the software and computer,we are unable to fully test this unit.
