The FM Series are hand-held, compact and easy-to-use optical power meters. Used in conjunction with any of Wilcom's fiber sources makes testing insertion loss and power level on multimode or singlemode fiber systems simple and accurate.

These full featured meters display measurements in dBm (absolute power), dBr (relative power) and μW (micro Watts) (mW for FM8515C). The FM-8510 offers simplified, basic measurements in dBm only. The optical input port on the FM series accepts Wilcom thread-on style adapter caps to support most fiber connector styles. (order separately)

ModelsFM-8510, FM-8515B and FM-8520 measure optical power from +5 dBm to -70 dBm with calibrated wavelengths of 850, 1300/1310, and 1550nm making these units ideal for general singlemode and multimode fiber optic testing requirements.
